The UX Factor: Amplifying AI Impact

Conversational UIs can transform virtual assistants for good. This is what I believe now after working with template-based chatbots and experiencing problems first-hand. The incremental increase in the user base of template-based chatbots triggers troubles as templates come with limited options, abrupt endings, and inadequate confirmations and feedback. AI’s response to users in those bots could annoy users.

Conversational UIs mimic human beings to respond to what users type or ask. It can guarantee a hike in AI’s impact. It can do much more by understanding user needs, defining goals, optimizing ML models, and getting into crucial details. This talk is about the ‘whys’, the ‘hows’, and the ‘way-outs’.
