About us

UX India 2023, now in its 19th edition, is the biggest UX design conference in India. Scheduled to be held from September 28th to 30th, the event will take place at The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru. With its focus on AI in design, this conference provides an exceptional platform to engage with the top industry professionals and delve into the fascinating world of artificial intelligence. Supported by UMO Design, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting design excellence and innovation, UXI strives to make a meaningful impact in the industry. The UMO Design Foundation, an initiative of UMO Design, has the goal of equipping a million women and girls with design skills necessary to secure employment by 2030.

Each year, UX India sets a theme that significantly shapes the industry’s trajectory in the subsequent year. This edition will explore various roles and nuances of AI in design, unveiling new possibilities and expanding horizons. Attendees can look forward to a rich program featuring workshops, panels, keynotes, talks, and ample networking opportunities, fostering knowledge exchange and professional connections. UMO Design Foundation, UMO is a non-profit organization working towards design awareness and the exchange of design sensibilities through interaction between designers and design-sensitive consumers. It is a forum dedicated to discussing, improving, and promoting the work of the design community in India.

Story

UMO founded by Bapu Kaladhar, in the year 2000, has been working towards design awareness and exchange of design sensibilities through interaction between designers and design-sensitive consumers. In 2005, the team UMO ran the first UMO Int’l Conference.
